“When kNot Today was founded in 2019, we had one goal: protect children,” said Frank Reich.  “This fight is often a dark one, and yet we have been humbled by the people and organizations who have committed to standing alongside us. Our hope is that the ‘Courage to Compete’ event will be an opportunity, every year, where we can come together and be encouraged, fellowship and experience what we can achieve as one team.”

As sex abuse and trafficking is a supply answer to a demand problem, proceeds from the evening will help kNot Today equip local law enforcement agencies with technology and resources to identify, arrest and prosecute sex buyers and creators and consumers of child sexual abuse material.

In addition, kNot Today will continue to invest in its Child Protection program, which educates and trains parents, students, educators and healthcare workers on how to protect the children in their care and respond to suspicion or information that sexual abuse, exploitation or trafficking may be taking place.

Local media personalities Anthony Calhoun, WISH-TV Sports Director, and Colts team reporter Larra Overton will serve as co-masters of ceremonies, creating a competitive and fun atmosphere for representatives of area businesses, celebrities and community members to socialize, network and support kNot Today.

By becoming a Lane Sponsor, businesses or individuals have the opportunity to create a team of six. Each team will be paired with a celebrity team captain and compete in one round of bowling for the chance to be the “2022 Courage to Compete Champion.”

Celebrity team captains will be announced leading up to the event, and individual tickets will be made available beginning Friday, March 25. For more information visit knottoday.org/events.
